About 4 km south of Budva, the beaches at Bečići and Rafailovići form a continuous arc of sand nearly 2 km long — the longest sandy beach on the Montenegrin coast. The sand is finer than Budva's pebble beaches, which explains why families with young children gravitate here. The resort development is dense but the beach itself is genuinely good.
Rafailovići, the southern end, is slightly more relaxed and favoured by those who want the beach without the full Bečići resort atmosphere. Both beaches have the usual complement of sun loungers, water sports, and waterfront restaurants. A taxi or local bus from Budva takes about ten minutes.
