Millennium Bridge

The Millennium Bridge is Podgorica's most photogenic modern landmark — a cable-stayed bridge spanning the Morača river, opened in 2005. The main pylon rises 75 metres above the road surface, making it visible from much of the city. At night the bridge is lit in colour and reflects off the river below.

The bridge carries road traffic but is also worth walking across on foot for the views up and down the Morača gorge. The Moscow Bridge nearby is older and pedestrian-only, offering a quieter crossing and a slightly different angle on the riverbank.
