Breda's Begijnhof is a quiet former beguinage near the centre, with small houses set around a courtyard that still feels apart from the busy streets outside. The beguines are gone, but the enclosed layout, herb garden, and modest domestic scale preserve much of the old atmosphere.
There is a small museum at number 29, and the courtyard is worth a slow look even if you do not go inside. It pairs easily with Valkenberg Park, the Grote Kerk, and the rest of central Breda.
