The city museum covers Breda's history, art, and culture across several exhibitions. The permanent Dust Bunnies exhibit is aimed at children -- an attic full of toys where kids can make their own dolls. The Mirrors of Time collection displays historic timepieces. The museum also hosts rotating local exhibitions.
The building itself is part of the attraction: the museum occupies a converted 17th-century hospital, and the interior courtyard is one of the prettiest in the city. Combined with the nearby Koepelgevangenis and the General Maczek Museum, Breda's museums cluster tightly enough that you can cover two or three in a single morning.
