Dordrecht is small but eats well — there is a sturdy lineup of canal-side bistros along the Wijnstraat and around the Statenplein, a couple of more ambitious modern restaurants in the old town, and the usual Dutch reliables (pancake houses, frites, broodjes herring). For a sit-down dinner aim for the streets between the Grote Kerk and the Voorstraathaven.
