Koopmanshaven

The Koopmanshaven (Merchant's Harbour) is the small, square inner harbour at the foot of the old town, lined on three sides by historic merchant houses and on the fourth by the boulevard. A handful of working fishing boats, a few yachts, and the historic lightship Westhinder are usually moored along the quays.

It is the most photographed corner of Vlissingen — the combination of dark water, brick gables, and the low lighthouse on the dike makes for a postcard view. Several restaurants and bars line the harbour and are good for an afternoon stop.
