The Oranjemolen is a 17th-century brick windmill standing on the dike at the eastern end of Vlissingen, looking across the harbour entrance. It is the last of several mills that once topped the city's fortifications and one of the more photogenic landmarks of the town.
The mill is occasionally open to visitors in summer when volunteers are working it; check at the tourist office. Even when closed, the walk along the dike from the boulevard takes about 20 minutes and is one of the better short walks in town.
