Mill De Hoop is a stone windmill from 1850, built to replace an earlier wooden mill. Its 12-metre tower makes it one of the more visible landmarks on this side of Zierikzee, especially when approaching the old town.
It is a short architectural stop rather than a full museum visit, but it adds another layer to a walk around Zierikzee's historic harbour and streets.
