Brus is a combined restaurant and bar on Storgata, popular with the local crowd in the evenings and reliable for lunch. The menu runs toward burgers, small plates, and a few larger mains — not primarily a fish place, which makes it a useful alternative if you have eaten seafood for two days straight. The beer selection is one of the better ones in town, with a good Norwegian craft lineup.
The space is lively without being loud, and the bar stays open later than most Bodø establishments. It is on the main shopping street, easy to find, and the kitchen is competent. Prices are typical for Norway: high by any other European standard but not conspicuously expensive for the local market.
