Legendia

Legendia (formerly Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko) is an amusement park on the southern fringe of Silesian Park, rebranded and overhauled in the 2010s. Its set-piece is the Lech Coaster, a steel inverted ride with three inversions and a 41-metre drop. Around it sit several mid-size coasters, a haunted-house ride, a water flume, and the usual family attractions.

The park leans into Slavic mythology in its theming — expect water nymphs, dragons, and Lech himself, the legendary founder of the Polish people. Open from late spring to early autumn. A one-day ticket gets you everything; queues are short on weekdays and long on summer Sundays.

A story
The Lech Coaster, opened in 2017, was Vekoma's first 'shockwave' design — its inversions throw riders into so-called 'beyond-vertical' angles, and it cost the park a reported 8 million euros, the largest single ride investment in Polish theme-park history.
