Chorzów is part of the conurbation around Katowice and effectively shares its transport links. The nearest airport is Katowice–Pyrzowice (KTW), about 35 km north of the city, served by LOT, Wizz Air, and Ryanair from most European hubs. There are buses and shared shuttles into the centre, and a direct taxi takes about 45 minutes.
By train, Chorzów has its own stations (Chorzów Batory and Chorzów Miasto) on the busy line between Katowice and Gliwice. Both Katowice and Gliwice are major Polish rail hubs with direct trains to Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Berlin, and Vienna. From either you reach Chorzów in 10 to 20 minutes by local service.
The city is on the A4 motorway, which connects Wrocław with Kraków and runs on to the Ukrainian border. Driving is the easiest way to reach Silesian Park if you are coming from elsewhere in Silesia.
