Polish craft beer has come a long way in a decade, and Gdansk now has several dedicated tap bars. Pubs Craft Beer, on Sw Ducha Street in the old town, is one of the better ones: a solid rotating selection of taps featuring Tricity breweries alongside other Polish and international crafts. The bar is small and fills quickly on weekends; arrive early or be prepared to stand.
Sw Ducha and the streets around it are the better end of the old-town bar scene — more local and less touristy than the Motlawa waterfront terraces. This is where you go for a proper pint rather than a tourist beer with a view.
