Getting There

Toruń has regular train connections to Warsaw (approximately 2.5 hours), Gdańsk (about 2 hours), and Poznań (about 2 hours). The main railway station, Toruń Główny, is on the south bank of the Vistula, a ten-minute walk across the bridge from the old town. Trains on the Warsaw route run several times a day; book in advance for the faster intercity services.

By bus, Toruń is connected to most major Polish cities; the bus terminal is adjacent to the main railway station. By car, the city is on the A1 motorway corridor. There is no commercial airport in Toruń — the nearest options are Bydgoszcz Airport (45 km away, limited European connections) or Gdańsk Airport (about 180 km, with broader international routes).
