The old town peninsula is small enough to cover entirely on foot — from Piața Ovidiu to the Casino is a ten-minute walk, and most of the sights cluster within five blocks of the square. The newer parts of the city, the railway station, the port and Mamaia are best reached by bus or taxi.
Buses. The city bus network is operated by CT BUS and covers the city and the Mamaia strip. The most useful lines are 40 (Mamaia–old town–railway station) and 100 (railway station–old town). Tickets are bought from kiosks or via the operator's app.
Taxi and rideshare. Bolt works in Constanța and is the easiest way to get around outside the centre. Local taxis are also cheap and almost always metered; agree to use the meter when getting in.
Walking. The seafront promenade is the city's best walking route. The streets of the old town are flat but cobbled in places; comfortable shoes help.
