Constanța's Marine Museum is the city's naval-memory room, with anchors, amphorae, ship models, coins, casts of inscriptions, and other pieces tied to the Black Sea. It is the sort of museum that makes most sense in a port city: part archaeology, part seamanship, part local pride.
The displays are not as dramatic as the sea itself, but they add useful context before walking the waterfront or the old harbour.
