The Museum of Crystal, Lacquer Miniatures and Embroidery shows a more delicate side of Vladimir's cultural heritage. Housed in a former church, it focuses on regional crafts from Gus-Khrustalny, Mstera, and other towns known for glass, miniature painting, and textile work.
It is a useful counterpoint to Vladimir's white-stone cathedrals. After the big medieval monuments, the museum brings the Golden Ring down to the scale of hands, workshops, and decorative traditions.
