The classic arrival is by Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow — about six days and 9,300 kilometres, ending at the Vladivostok railway terminal right on the waterfront. Trains also connect to Khabarovsk and other Russian Far East cities.
Vladivostok International Airport (VVO) has flights from Moscow, St Petersburg, and other Russian cities, as well as international connections to Seoul, Tokyo, and other Asian cities. The airport is about 50 kilometres from the city centre — an hour by taxi or airport bus.
Ferries operate between Vladivostok and ports in South Korea and Japan, though schedules and availability vary.
