Čutkovo Valley sits just outside Ružomberok and gives the town an easy green escape into the foothills of the Great Fatra. Trails, streams, wooden sculptures, and family-oriented recreation make it more than just a picnic spot.
It is best in fair weather, when you can walk into the valley and treat the restaurants or play areas as a bonus rather than the point. Hikers can use it as a soft introduction to the surrounding mountains before committing to longer routes.
