Ľubochnianska Valley cuts about 25 kilometres into the Veľká Fatra mountains, making it one of Slovakia's longest mountain valleys. It is a good choice when you want a quieter nature outing from Ružomberok, with forested slopes, long walking and cycling routes, and views toward Ploská and Čierny kameň at the upper end.
