A small wine bar on the ground floor of the Renaissance Manzioli Palace, on the most attractive square in the old town. Specialises in Istrian wines — Refošk, Malvazija Istarska, Teran — by the glass and the bottle, and pairs them with simple cold plates of prosciutto, local cheese, anchovies and olives. The tables on the cobbled square outside are the best seats in town from late afternoon onwards.
Prices are reasonable, the staff know their wines, and the small interior is one of the few places in Izola where you can have a glass of something obscure on a rainy winter evening. Open year-round.
