Triple Bridge (Tromostovje)

Plečnik's iconic triple crossing at the entrance to Ljubljana old town

Three parallel bridges crossing the Ljubljanica at the entrance to the old town. The original central bridge dates from 1842; Joze Plecnik added the two flanking pedestrian bridges in 1932. The statue of the poet France Preseren stands at the end of the bridge on the main square. It's the most photographed spot in Slovenia.
