Puštal lies across the river from the old centre and is worth the short walk for a different angle on Škofja Loka. It has its own historic houses and a quieter rhythm, with the castle and town centre visible from across the water.
This is not a separate sightseeing district in the big-city sense. It is a place to wander when the main square starts to feel too tidy, and it gives the town a more lived-in edge.
