Eating in Arroyo de la Miel is a different experience from the tourist restaurants down on the coast. The town has a genuinely local dining scene — tapas bars where ordering in Spanish is expected, and lunch menus del día that change daily and cost a fraction of what you would pay at the beach. The area around Plaza de la Iglesia and the streets between the train station and the church have the best concentration of places.
