Arroyo de la Miel has its own Cercanías train station on the Málaga–Fuengirola C-1 line, which is the single best reason to base yourself here. Trains run every 20 minutes throughout the day and the journey to Málaga Centro–Alameda takes 25 minutes. The airport (Málaga–Costa del Sol) is two stops in the other direction and takes about 15 minutes — you can go straight from your flight to Arroyo de la Miel without a taxi or bus transfer. Fuengirola is 15 minutes the other way.
By car, the town sits just off the A-7 motorway (exit 221). Parking in the town centre is straightforward by Costa del Sol standards. Direct buses from Málaga bus station also serve Arroyo de la Miel regularly, operated by the Avanza group.
