One of the oldest amusement parks in Spain, Tivoli World has been a fixture of the Costa del Sol since the 1970s. The park sits at the foot of the cable car station and covers a large landscaped area with rides, live entertainment, gardens, and restaurants. It is very much a local institution rather than a world-class theme park — rides are modest by international standards — but the atmosphere on a summer evening, with a live band playing and families staying well past midnight, is genuinely Spanish. The park opens seasonally from spring through autumn and runs late-night sessions in July and August.
