Puerto de la Duquesa

Puerto de la Duquesa is Manilva's modern leisure marina, built in the 1980s alongside the old Castillo de la Duquesa. It is a compact, well-maintained port with around 580 berths, a ring of restaurants and bars on the quayside, and a sandy beach immediately to the east. The marina is noticeably less crowded and less expensive than Marbella's Puerto BanĂºs further up the coast, which makes it popular with local sailors and visitors looking for a relaxed alternative. Water sports operators based here offer jet skiing, diving, fishing trips, and whale-watching excursions into the Strait of Gibraltar, where dolphins and pilot whales are regularly seen.
