Teatro del Carmen is Velez-Malaga's main performance space, set inside a former church near the old centre. The building gives concerts and plays a more intimate setting than a modern auditorium would.
It is mainly worth planning around if there is a performance on, but the reuse of the old church also makes it a quick architectural stop while walking between the town's churches and fortress.
