The Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena stands by Plaza del Adelantado, one of La Laguna's most historic corners. Founded in the early 17th century, it preserves carved wooden doors, stone arches, choir spaces, and a richly worked main altarpiece from 1665.
The convent is also tied to the local cult of María de León Bello y Delgado, known as La Siervita, whose preserved body is kept here. Even without that story, the church is worth a stop for its age, quiet interior, and place in La Laguna's UNESCO-listed old town.
