La Laguna's historic centre is compact and entirely walkable. The main pedestrian street runs between the cathedral and the Iglesia de la Concepción; the side streets are full of old houses, restaurants, and bars that serve the student population. Allow a full day for the historic centre and Santuario; combine with the Anaga park for a two-day stay.
