Restaurante París

A long-established restaurant near the Plaza Mayor serving traditional Zamorano and Castilian cuisine. The menu focuses on roast meats — lechazo (suckling lamb) and cochinillo (suckling pig) — alongside seasonal dishes and good local wine. The dining room is unpretentious and the service is professional.

Worth booking at weekends, particularly in spring when Semana Santa visitors fill the city. Ask for the house wine from Toro — the denomination just west of Zamora produces excellent tempranillo that is less well known than Ribera del Duero but arguably better value.
