A traditional cafe in the old quarter that has been serving coffee and pastries for decades. The interior is worn and comfortable in the manner of places that have not tried too hard to remain relevant — tiled floors, marble-topped tables, a long bar. The croissants and ensaimades in the morning are good; the coffee is properly strong.
Popular with locals for the morning ritual of coffee and newspaper. On Sunday mornings it fills early with people stopping for breakfast before the market.
