Sabadell is well connected to Barcelona by the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) rail network. Trains on the S2 and S4 lines run from Plaça de Catalunya in central Barcelona, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Services run frequently throughout the day. The main Sabadell station (Sabadell Central or Sabadell Estació) is a short walk from the city centre.
By car, Sabadell is about 25 km from Barcelona via the C-58 motorway. There is a smaller Sabadell Airport nearby but it handles only general aviation and some flight training — it does not offer commercial services for arriving visitors.
