Playa de Barra

Barra is the naturist beach of choice for this part of Galicia, and also one of the most beautiful beaches on the peninsula. It is reachable only on foot through a pine forest — a walk of about fifteen minutes from the nearest car park — which keeps it calm, clean, and free from the worst of the summer crowds.

The beach faces southwest, with wide views of the Atlantic and the Cíes Islands. The water is cold but clean, with low waves in summer. Naturism is widely practiced but not enforced; the beach attracts a relaxed, mixed crowd. Bring water and food, as there are no facilities.
