Mesón A Barriga

A reliable mesón on the waterfront serving straightforward Galician seafood — the kind of place where the menu consists of whatever came off the boats that morning, listed on a blackboard. Pulpo á feira, almejas (clams) in white wine, grilled rodaballo (turbot), and a jug of cold Albariño. No pretension, no nonsense.

The terrace has a view of the harbour. Lunch service runs from around 1:30pm as is standard in Galicia — arriving before 2pm means you will probably be the only table. Prices are honest for the quality.
