A no-frills wine bar on Rúa da Raíña, one of the liveliest streets in Santiago's old quarter. The narrow space fills quickly in the evening, with locals and pilgrims standing shoulder to shoulder over glasses of Ribeiro and Albariño. The wine list sticks to Galician producers and prices are very fair.
Order a plate of pulpo a feira or some local cheese to go with your wine. The atmosphere picks up around 9pm when the rest of the street's bars start to fill. A good first stop before working your way down the road.
