Santiago is a great place to be if you want a good meal, but don't have too much money to spend. The city is crawling with cheap and charming little restaurants, may of which can be found in the old town east of the cathedral. Rua de Villar, Rua Franco and Calle de la Raina are good streets to start looking for a place to eat.
