One of the most evocative squares in the old town, divided by a broad staircase into the "Quintana of the Living" (upper level) and "Quintana of the Dead" (lower). The famous Holy Door of the cathedral — only opened during holy years when July 25 falls on a Sunday — faces onto this square. Even outside holy years, the proportions and the quality of the stone make it worth finding.
