The other named spring in the Verín basin, Sousas, lies just north of the town centre and produces a slightly different mineral water from Cabreiroá — less carbonated, with a different mineral profile. The waters have been bottled since the early 20th century and the brand is sold across Galicia.
The site is less developed for tourism than Cabreiroá — there is no restored pavilion or formal tour — but the source can be visited and is set in a small park, and the bottling plant operates next to it. A short walk along the Támega river connects Sousas to the town centre, passing the old wash-houses (lavadoiros) that once served the town's laundry.
