Torreo de la Peca is the main surviving piece of Calpe's medieval defences: a tower, two short wall sections, and a gate from the fortress that once protected the old town. It is a compact sight, but it gives useful context to the historic centre before you head back toward the beach and Penyal d'Ifac views.
