Stakholm is a rocky islet linked to Trosso by a bridge, close enough to the centre of Karlskrona to fold into an easy walk. The reward is a full-circle view over the water, naval city, and surrounding islands.
It is especially good around sunset, when the granite, sea, and low rooftops show why Karlskrona's island setting matters as much as its planned baroque streets.
