Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården

Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården is the former home and office of Hjalmar Lundbohm, the LKAB manager who shaped Kiruna in its early mining years. The museum tells the story of the town's birth, the iron ore company, and the railway that tied Kiruna to Narvik.

It is a useful counterpoint to Kiruna's mine tours: smaller, more personal, and focused on the people and decisions behind the mining town.
