Arboretum Norr is a tree collection and riverside recreation area at Baggbole, west of Umea. It focuses on woody plants that can handle northern climates, making the place both a botanical collection and a calm walking landscape beside the Ume River.
The arboretum is best in leaf, but the trails and river setting make it pleasant for a quiet break in much of the year. It pairs naturally with the Baggbole mansion area or a cycling trip out from the city.
