Within the resort, a free bus service (the Navette) connects Crans and Montana and runs to the main lift stations. It is frequent enough to be genuinely useful. Many guests walk between the two villages — the distance is around 2 kilometres — or use the ski runs themselves in winter.
The Crans-Montana Aminona (CMA) lift system covers the whole ski area with a single pass. Lifts include gondolas, chairlifts, and the Plaine Morte cable car. The ski pass is expensive by Swiss standards — roughly CHF 60–70 per day in high season — but covers a large and well-maintained area.
In summer, the bus network continues to operate and connects to most hiking trail heads. Bikes can be rented at several places in both villages.
