Klosters is a compact village and the two centres — Klosters Dorf and Klosters Platz — are connected by a frequent postbus service and are walkable (about 20 minutes on foot). The two railway stations serve the Rhaetian Railway, which links the village to Davos in one direction and the mainline at Landquart in the other.
Within the ski area, the lift network provides the movement. The main gondola from Klosters Dorf ascends to the Gotschnagrat, and a separate gondola from Dorf serves Madrisa. Both are included on the Davos–Klosters ski pass, which also covers the full Parsenn area above Davos.
In summer, the postbus services the valley villages and connects to neighbouring communities. Cycling along the valley floor is pleasant and the cycle path follows a largely flat route alongside the Landquart river.
Most hotels offer ski storage, and the village is small enough that you rarely need a car within Klosters itself. Car hire is available in Landquart if you need to explore the wider region.
