Getting There

Klosters is in eastern Switzerland, most easily reached via Zurich.

By train, the Rhaetian Railway runs from Landquart directly to Klosters Platz and Klosters Dorf. Landquart is on the mainline from Zurich, and the journey from Zurich HB to Klosters takes about 90 minutes with one connection. The trains are reliable and the journey up the valley is scenic.

By road, Klosters is reached via the A28 autobahn to Landquart and then the cantonal road up the Prättigau valley. The drive from Zurich takes roughly 90 minutes. In winter, the road can require snow chains on the upper section; check conditions before travelling. The Vereina tunnel beneath the mountains provides a car-train service connecting Klosters to the Lower Engadine and Scuol, bypassing the high mountain passes that close in winter.

The nearest airport is Zurich, with good train connections. Munich, about three hours by rail, is the next closest major hub.
