Klosters divides neatly between winter and summer activities. In winter, the ski connection to the Parsenn and Madrisa areas is the central draw. In summer, the valley offers excellent hiking from the cable car stations and a peaceful character that the resort loses entirely in ski season. The village is small enough to explore on foot in an hour, with the reformed church, the Nutli-Hüschi museum, and the two railway station centres as the principal landmarks.
