A small but serious fine arts museum housed in a neo-classical building just behind the railway station. The Jenisch holds the Cabinet Cantonal des Estampes, one of the largest collections of prints in Switzerland — Rembrandt and Durer through Corot and Picasso — plus a permanent Oskar Kokoschka collection (the artist spent his last years in nearby Villeneuve).
The temporary exhibitions are well chosen and usually under-visited. The cafe in the courtyard is a quiet spot for a coffee after the galleries.
