Sharing plates with a Levantine slant on Bold Street

Address 91 Bold Street, Liverpool, L1 4HF

A Bold Street original that helped define the Liverpool restaurant scene of the late 2010s — small plates with a Middle Eastern and Lebanese leaning, served in a casual room with exposed brick and good lighting. The disco cauliflower has acquired a cult following beyond the city; the pomegranate-glazed lamb chops are the other signature.

Walk-ins possible on weeknights, otherwise book. There are now sister branches in the Albert Dock and Allerton Road, but the Bold Street original remains the best of the three. Reasonable wine list, friendly service, prices on the right side of moderate.
