Bath has some of the best independent shopping in the south-west of England. Milsom Street and its side streets are the main shopping area, mixing high street names with independent boutiques. The historic Corridor arcade, one of the earliest covered shopping passages in the world, connects High Street to Union Passage. Walcot Street, north of the centre, has a more bohemian feel with vintage shops, antiques dealers, and the excellent Walcot Street market on Saturday mornings.
