Coventry has a lively student population — the University of Coventry occupies much of the eastern city centre, and Coventry University is nearby — which keeps the bar scene active. FarGo Village is the place for craft beer and a more creative crowd. The city centre has the standard mix of chain pubs and a few independent venues worth finding.
